What the numbers mean
Lenders that underwrite on revenue start from one question: how much can this business comfortably repay from its sales? For most businesses that answer lands between 70% and 120% of average monthly deposits. A business with $50,000 a month in revenue, for example, typically sees offers in the $35,000 to $60,000 range on a first funding, with larger amounts available on renewals and on longer-term products such as term loans and SBA loans.
Time in business shifts the range. Six to twelve months of history earns a slightly smaller first offer; two or more years of consistent deposits pushes it higher. Industry matters less than owners expect, because the deposits already reflect it.
The repayment figure shows revenue-based financing at about 5% of revenue, the structure most Belmont clients choose for short-term capital. Term loans and equipment financing use fixed payments instead; a specialist will show both when you apply.
Calculator FAQ
How is the estimate calculated?+
Most revenue-based approvals fall between roughly 70% and 120% of a business's average monthly bank deposits, adjusted for time in business. The calculator applies that range to the revenue you enter, with a $10,000 floor and a $5,000,000 cap.
Is the calculator result an offer?+
No. It is an illustration based on typical approvals. Your real offer is set by a funding specialist after reviewing three months of business bank statements, and it can be higher or lower than the estimate.
Why is $20,000 in monthly revenue the minimum?+
Belmont Capital Partners underwrites on revenue rather than credit score. $20,000 a month is the level at which revenue-based repayment comfortably fits a business's cash flow.
What does repayment at 5% of revenue mean?+
With revenue-based financing, repayment is a fixed percentage of your sales rather than a fixed monthly payment. If revenue is $50,000 in a month, about $2,500 is remitted; in a slower month the amount drops with it.
Does using the calculator or applying affect my credit?+
No. The calculator collects nothing, and the application uses a soft credit check that does not impact your score.
